Kristin L. Arnold

Kristin grew up in St. Clair, Missouri. She attended Missouri State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminology with a Minor in Sociology in May 2011. Following graduation, Kristin attended Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois. She is a December 2013 Juris Doctorate graduate and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in April 2014. She then relocated to Mid-Missouri where she has practiced ever since. In March 2019, Kristin was also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Prior to forming this firm, Kristin was an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Audrain County Prosecutor’s office where she represented the State of Missouri in cases ranging from juvenile matters to complex sex abuse crimes. Her passion for protecting victims and holding those who harmed them accountable led to her Thomas Law Offices, PLLC, where she focused on representing those individuals harmed by the actions of others, and in particular, holding nursing homes accountable when they failed to care for the most vulnerable in our society. 

Kristin currently handles matters related to Juvenile Law, Estate Planning, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Traffic Law, Probate, Civil Litigation and Personal Injury.

She is a member of the Missouri Juvenile Justice Association, Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judge Association, American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, is President of the Audrain County Bar Association, a member of the Boone County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and a member of the Missouri Bar Association. 

Kristin is secretary of the Board of Directors for Mid-Missouri Legal Services, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Mexico Area Family YMCA, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Handi-Shop, Inc., and is a member of the Mexico Missouri Jaycees.

In her free time, Kristin enjoys baking, being outdoors, spending time with her family and being active with her dogs Lucy, Willow and Penny.
